About Me

With over 25 years of professional experience in Southeast Asia, Africa, and the United States., I am a seasoned development communicator and former journalist.

Most recently, I served as USAID Cambodia’s Development Outreach and Communications Advisor, where I led the communications strategy, media outreach, and digital engagement. Previously, I served as PEPFAR Deputy Country Coordinator in both Botswana and Zimbabwe, guiding U.S. government health diplomacy, interagency coordination, and high-profile communications campaigns.

I have worked at both grassroots and national levels, advising ministries, civil society, and donor partners. I led a regional HIV advocacy initiative featuring former presidents of Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zambia, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Earlier in my career, I was a correspondent for the Associated Press.

I combine sharp storytelling with deep public health expertise, holding a Master of Public Health in Health Communication and a BA in Journalism.
